The mission of Thanksgiving Point, as a 501 (c)(3) nonprofit organization, is to provide opportunities for transformative family learning and fostering an environment where positive, meaningful experiences naturally happen. This mission happens because of amazing volunteers who spend their precious time at a variety events and positions throughout the year.
For the first time, Thanksgiving Point is hosting a Volunteer Fair on Saturday, March 10 from 10:30am-12:30pm for those who would like to learn about joining the ranks as a volunteer in 2018. Current staff and volunteers will be on hand to answer questions. We need everyone from garden enthusiasts looking for a new hobby to those looking to enrich our mission through education.
Come to the Garden Room in the Ashton Gardens Visitor Center on March 10th to get all the information about this exciting opportunity. Volunteers have the opportunity to earn benefits such as admissions and venue passes, Thanksgiving Point memberships through their service.
