Our Girls in STEAM programs are designed spark passion and curiosity in Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Math. One of the easiest ways to do this is to increase the visibility of a more diverse group of role models for our students and our community. We believe that “if you can see it, you can be it” and by increasing the presence of female role models that look more like our kids, they can feel more supported in STEAM.
SHEroes in STEM is an annual event to celebrate female-identifying individuals in STEM careers and industries throughout our community. Come meet these professionals and learn about a variety of STEM careers with engaging activities spread throughout the museum’s galleries. Bring the whole family to celebrate the contributions of women in STEM and inspire the next generation of female STEM leaders!
